HOW WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA

We are dependent on trust from our customers. That is why your privacy is important to us and your personal data is safe with us.

SCOPE

This Privacy Policy applies to the Halseth Smarthus application provided by Stian Halseth

The purpose of this app is to connect to your home control system. No personal data is stored in the app or on our servers.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This app does not store any personal data.

DATA CONTROLLER

The Data Controller is the one who sets the purpose for how to process the personal data. For personal data collected based on complying agreements with our customers, the customer themselves (in most cases) will be the Data Controller.

DATA PROCESSOR

When an Stian Halseth customer is the Data Controller, Stian Halseth acts as a Data Processor. For this purpose there has been made a Data Processor Agreement between the customer and Stian Halseth. Stian Halseth has also signed agreements with subcontractors on data processing. Our subcontractors cannot use this information for other purposes than defined by the Data Controller.

LOCATION SERVICES

For functionality that can be enriched with location data, we might request access to device location data.
You can optionally enable fine location data in the background to enable a geofence service that detects when your arrive at, or leave your home. Position data is never stored, in app or on remote server.
This access is not required for the use of our services, and must be enabled explicitly by the user. A detailed explanation for the specific use case is provided in-app before enabling location services.
Location data is not sent to, or stored on our servers.
